Small Business Realness (Food52 launches KNORK Eco!!)

We wanted to get real with you guys about something super important to us. For a number of years now, we've been trying our darndest to become a supplier with a really cool company called Food52. They've actually turned us down at least 5 times over the years (but who's counting, right?)

But now...now, they are our newest retail partner for our Eco line, and will be offering them in larger, bulk pack assortment that you can ONLY find on their site. And IF this launch does well, they will consider bringing in the Knork stainless starter set .

Food52 hit 16 million readers in 10 years.The site quickly became a destination for the kitchen-obsessed. They have amassed a huge foodie following and now they curate the finest products for their savvy consumer community. We pray this brings with it the product discovery magnification this product line needs.

We are soooooooo close to being 100% complete with fulfillment, but are waiting on a handful of backers to complete surveys. No survey means that we don't have a physical address to ship your product to, And we so, so want to get these final orders out the door! So, if you are wondering where your shipment is, and don't remember filling out a survey, please check your inboxes--we sent another reminder email to each of you today! If you are still waiting & can't find a survey to fill out, just email or message us with your current shipping address and we'll go from there!

Carrying Case/8+1 shipments happening THIS WEEK// Last call for address changes!!!

Here it is...the update you've been patiently waiting for...

...carrying cases and 8+1 sets will be here tomorrow! Whoop whoop! We are expecting them to arrive in the morning, at which time we'll inspect and put them into inventory. We'll start shipping on Wednesday, continuing through Friday!

This means, if you have moved or have had an address modification since our last update and haven't let us know, you have until Wednesday to send an email to Sarah at:  [email protected]

If you don't let us know of the change, your shipment will likely be lost, mis-delivered, or caught in USPS limbo. Neither one of us wants that to happen! :) So please, please, PLEASE let us know of any changes or special circumstances so that we can fix it ASAP! 

And a HUGE thank you again to all of you, our backers. Both monetarily, and through your kind words, feedback, and grace and patience while we navigated through this intricate process and unfamiliar territory. We couldn't have launched this product line without you, and we'll be forever grateful for you!

Ordered carrying cases but they weren't in your shipment? Read this update to find out why!

Hi all! We've received a few messages with concerned backers stating that they didn't receive their carrying cases in their orders...so if you're curious what's going on-here's the long and short of it below :)  

The cases always had about a month lag in production time, so they will not be arriving to us until the end of this month or early September, at which time we'll be doing ANOTHER round of shipments to everybody who had this item on their orders (either a single case or the 8 + 1 sets). We wanted to get the majority of the items out the door and to our backers as soon as we could--we were excited for you to have them in your hands!

This is always the way that we intended fulfillment to go from the start, and something that we have tried to outline and communicate since the beginning of the campaign--each rewards tier and on every update. With close to 1,000 backers though, it's sometimes difficult to get everybody on the same page and distribute announcements effectively. We're sorry for any misunderstanding or confusion.

Shipping Orders Now!!!

 Hi hi hi hi hi y'all ... great news!!!  

--Orders have started shipping and it's crazy around here! 

We're doing a bunch of partial shipments since the carry cases and carry case sets (8+1s) are shipping at the end of August/early September when they're in stock.  But for now, we're sending out all of the Eco 6 piece sets, compost bins, trays, stainless steel engraved items, etc. Some of the international/non domestic US shipments will ship in full in August/Sept, but we will email these customers next week to let them know ETA/timelines :)
