Shipping Update!
The first order is stateside and, and it will be on the way to KS soon!

Shipping orders out to you all will happen about a week later than we originally thought, which isn't too bad in the grand scheme of things--we appreciate you all bearing with us and having patience while we navigated the initial manufacturing/packaging phase! We're as ready for them to be here as you are!

A slight bump in the (production) road

Hey, hey Backers--happy 1st Day of Summer!
We're coming to you today with a rewards shipping timeline update--promise you won't hate us too much?!
Regarding final packaging/product approval: the packaging was almost ready for us to put our "yes" stamp on, but one of the colors got severely distorted somewhere between us choosing our Pantone color and the printing. Also, one of the fold lines on the box was a smidge off...so we did a color swap and had to tweak the die lines on the packaging file. Unfortunately, this did add on a couple more weeks to the production time...we just want to make sure that everything is done correctly and looks good, and we hope you'll understand!
We know that we originally said June 30th for the first shipments, but it's looking more like having the goods to our door by July 20th, and then our warehouse elves will get them out the door within a day or two! That will just leave the carrying cases, which will be in stock and shipping later in August.

ALSO, we received the final limited-edition compost bin this week, and it's legit ah-maze balls. You will love love love (we're already making room on our kitchen counters for when these are in stock!).

Hi Backers! We know it's been a bit since our last update, but we've had SO MUCH stuff happening here that we wanted to wait until we had a whole slew of things to update you on!
First off: Final production samples are en route to us--hooray!

As a thanks to you for helping us reach our $30k stretch goal, every order will include a hand forged stainless steel dinner fork AND an extra Eco fork (because you can never have too many forks, amirite?) We wanted to use this as a chance to introduce you to our original stainless line, letting you feel for yourself what makes our flatware so different! If this is your first piece of KNORK flatware, the two tone duo finish makes certain it won't mix in with your other flatware. This fork will be easy to spot in your drawer and we're betting it will quickly become your go to dining companion :)

At our last count, we are still showing 93 backers that have not completed their surveys so that we can lock in shipping information. Just a reminder, if you have not completed yours, PLEASE do so asap. We want to send you your goodies just as much as you want them. BUT, we can't do so until you've completed this step! We will send reminder emails out again next week---beat us to it and finish yours now :)
Another Note --- we are arranging the first of 2 shipments of Eco to arrive this summer. The first shipment (ETA 7/2) will have the 6 piece Eco fork and spoon packs, bamboo trays, and compost bins. The second shipment (ETA 8/1) will include the carry cases.
For those that have completed their surveys and are getting ready to lock addresses-- we realize that sometimes things happen and you may move or have something change between address locks and the July ship date. If you lock an address but something changes before July 10th, please reach out at any time to [email protected] --- Sarah will be glad to assist and make the changes for you!

Can you believe it? WOW!! Thanks to each and every one of you for being a part of it, and for believing in us and this product. We can honestly say that it wouldn't have been possible without your support. Fully funded feels good!
In two weeks, we'll be sending out a survey where you can give us your shipping details and add additional items to your order if you'd like to, via the pre-order store. There might even be some exciting surprises in there too :)
Please be patient with us while we work out all the kinks in the survey -- we want to make sure we get everything right before we send it to all of you. 😊 We're also still working on the free gift for $30k incentive that you also helped us to hit, so we'll be including those details in the survey as well. Every backer will benefit though, as a big THANK YOU!
Update -- the Eco utensils, 6 pks stainless steel pieces and bamboo tray and composters will be shipping early July and the carry cases will be shipping in August.

Check this spot-on piece out by Yanko Design !! It's like they crawled into our heads and wrote down everything we've ever thought about why this new Eco line is so, so great!
We are super stoked for the astrik carry case arrival this summer along with NEW knorkeco— A compostable alternative to plastic utensils— smart AND plant-based...win-win!
